About the Exhibition
Meditations on Fragility, Impermanence, Resilience, and Joy is a deeply personal exploration of the tension between vulnerability and strength—both within ourselves and in the world around us. This collection emerges from my reflections on personal experiences intertwined with global events, offering a visual and tactile dialogue on how we navigate change, loss, and renewal.
Working with cold wax and oil, I build layers of paint that echo the palimpsest of memory and emotion, revealing traces of what is hidden beneath the surface. My sculptures, composed of objects found on long walks both in nature and on city streets, are artifacts of presence and absence—remnants of the world’s quiet narratives. The fiber-based weavings and installations embody the act of reconstruction, weaving together threads of resilience, connection, and transformation.
Through these varied materials and processes, I contemplate the ephemeral nature of existence while honoring the enduring spirit that persists despite uncertainty. This body of work is an invitation to pause, reflect, and find beauty in the delicate balance between holding on and letting go.
