Join us at the Goldmark Cultural Center on Saturday, 11/19, from 10am - 2pm for a very special ceramics workshop featuring Barbara Frey!
Barbara will demonstrate her technique for creating intricately textured ceramic surfaces using molds sculpted from a selection of found objects, the same technique she used to shape the hand-built, woodfired ceramic tumblers that are on display as part of her exhibition "An Artist's Walk", currently featured in the Goldmark Cultural Center's J.H. Milde Gallery.
The workshop begins at 10am with a break for a potluck luncheon at 12pm before resuming and then finally concluding around 2pm. After the workshop, attendees are free to view Barbara's exhibition "An Artist's Walk" in the J.H. Milde Gallery.
The workshop will take place in the Goldmark Cultural Center auditorium at 14001 Goldmark Dr, Dallas TX 75240.
The workshop is free to attend, though attendees are expected to bring one dish for the potluck luncheon. Please RSVP by emailing goldmarkculturalcenter@gmail.com as space may be limited.
