The Goldmark Cultural Center is proud to present “A Journey of Recovery through Art”, a pop-up exhibition featuring new paintings by Goldmark artist Diane Min.

“A Journey of Recovery through Art” is on display in the Goldmark Artists’ Showcase from 18 September 2023 until 15 October 2023, with an exhibition reception on Saturday, 30 September 2023 from 1.00 - 3.00pm. Diane will be present at the reception to respond to questions or comments about her work.

About the Exhibition

I have overcome two major car accidents that forever changed my life. In one, I was hit, thrown into the air, crashed through a store, and miraculously landed just inches from a fatal outcome. The second accident left me with more memory damage, altering the way I perceive the world. Through these challenges, art emerged as my source of hope and therapy.

My emotions come alive in my artwork through vibrant colors. Each brushstroke and sculptural creation reflects my moods, conveying joy, melancholy, and serenity. As a mixed media artist, I explore different materials and techniques, combining textures and dimensions to create thought-provoking pieces.

I am grateful for the gift of life and find happiness in being on this earth. My art radiates with gratitude and invites viewers to embrace the beauty and resilience found in each moment. It is a reminder of the transformative power of self-expression and the strength of the human spirit.

In essence, my art tells a story of resilience, healing, and gratitude. It is an invitation to embrace life's journey, no matter how difficult. Through my work, I aim to inspire others to find solace in their own narratives and discover the remarkable strength within themselves.
