The Goldmark Fall Art Walk is an open studio tour that offers visitors an excellent opportunity to freely tour the working studio spaces of more than 60 Goldmark artists at the Goldmark Cultural Center. The Goldmark artists will be on hand to personally introduce themselves and their work to visitors, and many Goldmark artists will be conducting free art demos and workshops throughout the Art Walk, while simultaneously offering their work for sale.
In addition to the Goldmark artists, a number of visiting North Texas artists will also be present at the Art Walk to display and sell their work.
The Goldmark Fall Art Walk is also timed to coincide with the simultaneous opening receptions of the two newest exhibitions at the Goldmark Cultural Center. The first exhibition, entitled "Ceramics on the Wall", is a juried exhibition which showcases the work of Texas ceramics students from across the state. This exhibition is installed throughout the main hallways of the Goldmark Cultural Center. The second exhibition, entitled "On the Wall / Off the Wall", showcases the work of Texas ceramics faculty and is installed in the Goldmark Cultural Center's J.H. Milde Gallery.
Live music performances are also scheduled throughout the length of the Art Walk. “Jump in the Pot” will be performing all day Saturday, while the “Uke-ladies” will be performing at 2pm on Sunday.
The Goldmark Fall Art Walk will be held from 12pm to 5pm on Saturday, November 16 and from 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, November 17.
