Join us on Saturday, August 13, from 12 to 5pm at the Goldmark Cultural Center for our Summer Art Walk!
During this open studios event, meet the Goldmark artists, tour their art studios and workspaces, and enrich yourself by experiencing their original artwork, much of which will be available for purchase.
With over 110 different Goldmark artists working across the entire spectrum of the visual arts, there is sure to be something for everyone, whether you are interested in discovering local artists, keeping up with the latest in the North Texas art scene, or simply enjoying a weekend surrounded by great art and artists.
Many of the Goldmark artists will also be conducting art demos and activities throughout the day, so on arrival, be sure to check the demo schedule for more detailed information. Open studios, art demos, and exhibitions will be spread across all floors of the Cultural Center’s two buildings, so there will be plenty to see and do.
During the Art Walk, our featured art exhibitions for August will be on display in the Cultural Center's galleries and exhibition spaces. “Of Milk and Fire”, a solo exhibition of ceramic and mixed media works by Amy Henson, will be on display in the J.H. Milde Gallery. "Under the Surface", a solo sculptural exhibition by Nan Martin, will be on display in the N. Brown Gallery. “Identity”, a solo exhibition of transformable fashion design art by visiting international artist Yoon Jin Nam from Seoul, South Korea, will be on display in Studio 138.
